Product description<\/strong><\/h4>\n

The Aqara smoke detector can operate stand-alone (with sound and light signals), but requires a gateway with Zigbee 3.0 communication for full functionality. This product works as a photoelectric smoke detector, detecting the occurrence of a fire at an early stage with a smoke sensor. When the smoke concentration reaches a preset limit, the device triggers an audible and light alarm. At the same time, it sends a notification to the Aqara app via the gateway. To use the device, the following is required Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub<\/strong>. A compatible Aqara hub is required for integration with Apple HomeKit.<\/p>\n

      Quick setup in the Aqara environment<\/strong><\/h4>\n

      1. Download the Aqara Home app and connect the Aqara Zigbee 3.0 hub.<\/li>\n
      2. Insert the supplied battery into the detector.<\/li>\n
      3. In the app, select \"Smoke Detector\", then quickly press the button on your device three times. After successful connection, you can configure the device.<\/li>\n
      4. If the connection fails, move the detector closer to the hub and try again.<\/li>\n<\/ol>\n

        Installation instructions<\/strong><\/h4>\n

        • Mount the smoke detector on the ceiling of each separate room, at least 0.5 metres away from walls or corners.<\/li>\n
        • Do not install the detector in the kitchen, bathroom, dusty or humid areas or near air conditioning.<\/li>\n
        • In new buildings, install the detector after all construction work has been completed.<\/li>\n
        • If ceiling mounting is not possible, install it on the far side of the wall, at least 0.5 metres from the ceiling.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n
