What is Tasmota firmware?<\/strong><\/p>\n

TASMOTA is an open source firmware that is increasingly used as the base software for smart home devices, often even pre-loaded at the factory. It allows local control without cloud dependency and supports manufacturer-independent, local and secure data storage. Because Tasmota is open source, it is constantly being developed and revised by the community, increasing security and reliability.<\/p>\n

It supports a variety of communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP and WebSocket, allowing wide compatibility with different devices. Devices with TASMOTA firmware can be easily integrated with various smart home systems such as Home Assistant, OpenHAB, Domoticz and Node-RED.<\/p>\n

The Tasmota firmware provides a local web interface to manage settings on the devices themselves, but does not offer a \"factory\" application. However, there are several third-party applications for managing and controlling the devices. The Nous B1T WiFi Smart Relay Module is a single channel relay that contains an integrated ESP32 MINI-1 module with 4MB flash memory and comes preloaded with Tasmota firmware, allowing easy integration with various smart home systems such as Home Assistant.<\/p>\n

The B1T module supports 100-240V AC or 24-48V DC or 12V DC power and connects via built-in 2.4GHz Wi-Fi.<\/p>\n

The Tasmoto firmware does not make it compatible with Nous' own application, but with open source solutions such as Home Assistant or other systems that support the MQTT protocol.<\/p>\n

Due to its compact size, the module fits into standard socket depths and can be installed behind traditional switching points. It has a switch input so that smartly upgraded switching points remain usable as before.<\/p>\n
