One of Nous' new European products is Nous B2Z 1-channel<\/strong> Smart Relay<\/strong> with an energy meter equipped with a Tuya Zigbee chip. The module can be installed in recessed socket outlets or switches to manage and measure their power consumption<\/strong> or for control and metering of any other device with a maximum of 16A.<\/p>\n

The Nous B2Z relay module is equipped with a Tuya Zigbee chip, which needs to be connected to a Tuya Zigbee gateway for remote control via the Tuya\/SmartLife app on a smartphone.<\/p>\n

What is the Tuya\/SmartLife smart home platform and app?<\/strong><\/p>\n

Tuya is a popular cloud-based smart home platform that offers integrated solutions for a variety of smart home devices and applications. The platform makes it quick and easy to connect devices, remotely control and manage them through a single app. Known as Tuya or SmartLife, it offers users a complete smart home ecosystem with devices from a wide range of manufacturers.<\/p>\n

It supports voice control, remote access and automated processes (scenes). The Tuya platform also integrates with other smart home ecosystems such as Amazon Alexa, Google Assistant and SmartThings, allowing Tuya devices to be used on these platforms as well. Nous B2Z Tuya Zigbee Smart Relay Module is a 1-channel smart relay module with an integrated power consumption meter. It supports 100-240V AC or 24-30V DC power supply and can be connected to Nous' own Zigbee gateway or other standard Tuya Zigbee gateways using the built-in Tuya Zigbee chip.<\/p>\n

The device can be controlled via a smartphone with the Nous app, but in terms of user experience, the Tuya app offers more features.<\/span><\/p>\n

Its small size allows it to fit into standard wall socket and switch sockets and not only control them, but also measure their consumption. It has a switch key input so that switch points \"smartly\" upgraded with it remain usable as before.<\/p>\n

Nous B2Z is a relay module for the Tuya smart home, which operates mainly in cloud mode. However, with Tuya Zigbee gateways allowing local caching and automation, it can also work without an internet connection.<\/p>\n
