The Sonoff TX Ultimate, also known as Sonoff T5 EU, is the latest product from Sonoff, released in summer 2023: a smart light switch that supports Wi-Fi and eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth) protocols. Like other Sonoff products, it connects to the eWeLink smart home and can be controlled via the eWeLink mobile app.<\/p>\n
The smart light switch connects to a local Wi-Fi router and can be controlled remotely via mobile phone and internet. It also supports ON\/OFF scheduling, timer and looped ON\/OFF control. The main innovation of this product version is that the entire surface of the front panel is touch-sensitive, which makes it very comfortable to use: simply touch it anywhere and the switch turns on or off instantly.<\/p>\n
The elegant white front touch panel is interchangeable and the manufacturer offers several different panels.<\/p>\n
The switch is available in single-, dual- and three-channel versions \/ with one, two or three touch buttons.<\/p>\n
At the edge of the Sonoff TX Ultimate T5 EU switch is an LED strip that can be configured for multiple functions: it can be configured to display ON\/OFF status, for visual feedback when switching, for use as ambient or mood lighting (e.g. party mode), as well as a night light (with on\/off scheduler). (With the eWeLink app's standard timers, you can control the timing of both the switch circuits and the mood lighting.) The switch can also emit an audible and light signal (separately configurable) and vibrate when it is switched on and off - all of which can be configured in the eWeLink app, or disabled if not required. You can also set a \"Do Not Disturb\" night time in the app, when the switch is always silent.<\/p>\n
The status of each channel (on\/off) is also indicated by LED illumination on the mood light strip, where colour and brightness can be set separately for off and on status.<\/p>\n
As with other Sonoff smart switches, the built-in WiFi chip allows you to remotely control the switch on\/off, check the current status and set the schedule using the eWeLink app on an iOS (Apple) or Android device connected to the internet. And you can also control the light naturally with a touch switch on the wall - just like a normal touch switch.<\/p>\n
You can also share remote access with family members. The ideal solution for smart control of any lamp or lighting. Use it to conveniently switch lights on or off remotely, even when you're not at home. It can also be used as burglar protection - to simulate your presence: with a timer, you can set the on\/off switch to make it look like you're at home.<\/p>\n
Like other new Sonoff products, it is equipped with a Bluetooth receiver and Bluetooth gateway function, so it can also be remotely controlled with Sonoff Bluetooth wireless devices (e.g. Sonoff S-MATE module, Sonoff R5 switches).<\/p>\n
Sonoff Ultimate TX T5 switches can also be set to momentary switch mode (with an \"inching\" function), whereby it automatically switches off after a predefined time after switching on - suitable for \"staircase time switching\".<\/p>\n
