Aeotec Door and Window Sensor 7 Pro

The Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 Pro is a sensor that detects whether your window is open, closed or tilted, which requires a tilt angle of at least 5°. The sensor can be easily retrofitted. In addition, the Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 Pro can integrate other sensors by connecting it to other binary sensors such as NTC contacts, micro switches or a flood sensor.

Thanks to its slim design, the Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 Pro can be easily spotted on any window. The sensor only needs to be mounted on the window sash. In addition, a thin magnet, which is placed right next to the sensor, has to be mounted on the window frame.

With a possible free entry, the Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 Pro can also integrate other sensors into its Z-Wave system. For this purpose, a binary sensor is connected to the sensor's free potential input. In addition to the sensors, momentary switches can also be connected to control scenes in the door.

If your Aeotec Door Window Sensor 7 Pro fails once, you can easily replace the core - the printed circuit board - without removing the sensor. This way you can stick the device to the window frame and replace only the circuit board.
