Shelly 1PM GEN3 single channel

The Shelly 1PM Gen3 is a WiFi+Bluetooth compatible, wall box mountable, 1 circuit, 16A smart relay module with built-in power meter. It supports wet contact switching only and can be used to control and measure the power consumption of lights and sockets.

Original price was: 31,11 €.Current price is: 23,33 €.

Shelly 1PM GEN3 is a new improved version of the Shelly PLUS 1PM (Gen2) single-channel smart relay. As with its predecessor, the GEN3 version has a built-in output power meter.

(If you need a standard module without power meter and dry contact support, select Shelly 1 Gen3 smart relay.)

It connects directly to your Wi-Fi router, so there's no need for a local bridge or hub. It can be used as a stand-alone device to automate lights or other electrical devices.

It is one of the smallest Wi-Fi devices for smart management and power metering of wall switches or sockets. Due to its compact size, it can be installed behind a standard wall switch, socket or in an electrical junction box, allowing for an easy retrofit solution.

Installed behind existing switches or sockets, it allows you to remotely control lights or other loads, monitor their status and measure their energy consumption, making it ideal for retrofit smart control. The maximum rated load of 16A also allows control of socket outlets.

The relay includes a switch input, which means you can still use the wall switch to turn the device on/off, while controlling it via Wi-Fi and setting different timers. It's also possible to disable the switch in the app, which is useful for rooms with small children, for example.

It supports different types of switches: normal, manual, push-button, as well as 2-way and 3-way switches. The auto-off function also allows momentary operation.

The relay operates on 110V-240V AC or 24V-30V DC input with a maximum current of 16A at the output, so it is not suitable for dry contact switches.

Important: The phase conductor at the supply input and the phase conductor at the switch input must be on the same phase. The device is not suitable for multiphase systems!

THE SIZE OF THE DEVICE AND THE DIN BRACKET:

The Shelly 1PM GEN3 has the same dimensions as its predecessor, so standard DIN mounts can be used. Clear wiring diagrams are also included.

BLUETOOTH CONNECTION:

The connection requires the new Shelly Cloud app and is not compatible with the old version of the app. The connection is fast thanks to the built-in Bluetooth chip.

A MORE POWERFUL PROCESSOR AND MORE FEATURES:

The ESP32 processor is replaced by the more powerful ESP-Shelly-C38F, which offers faster performance and more memory (double the 8MB capacity), allowing more advanced functions.

OVERHEATING AND OVERVOLTAGE PROTECTION:

The device is equipped with overheating, overvoltage and overload protection, ensuring safer operation in confined spaces for wall switches and sockets.

SHELLY GEN3 CHARACTERISTICS:

  • Supported by HTTP/HTTPS webhooks for easy connection to other automation systems.
  • Supports time settings at sunrise and sunset with a shift setting of up to ±23 hours.
  • Allows up to 20 timersstored locally, even offline.
  • Support for mjS scriptswith which users can create their own functions and automations.
  • Support for virtual components that enable advanced features via HTTP commands.
  • The Bluetooth Gateway function allows communication with other Shelly BLU devices via the local cloud.

Time settings:

  • On/off can be set for specific days of the week.
  • It supports sunrise and sunset settings, including time-shifting.
  • Automatic switch-off/on after a set time.

Supported modes of operation:

  • Cloud mode: the device connects to Shelly Cloud, allowing management via the app and the web.
  • LAN (local) mode: the device is only accessible within the local network.
  • Wi-Fi Access Point mode: your device creates its own Wi-Fi, which you can connect to directly and control without an external network.

In the cloud, Shelly devices can manage each other via Scenes (e.g. one switch turns on another device). You can also use direct HTTP commands in LAN mode for management without a connection to the cloud.

Consumption data is stored in Shelly Cloud when the device is in cloud mode, with the option to view and download consumption in the app.

Integrations:

Shelly 1PM GEN3 is extremely easy to integrate as it supports MQTT and REST APIs. It is compatible with Google Home, Amazon Echo, Yandex Alice and other voice assistants. Unlike older models, it allows simultaneous management via the cloud and MQTT.

The following systems are also supported:

  • MQTT
  • HomeSeer
  • ioBroker
  • Home Assistant
  • openHAB
  • Domoticz
  • SYMCAN
  • nymea
  • Hubitat
  • Hoobs
  • REST API

Installation:

  • Suitable for standard wall-mounted switch and socket outlets.
  • DIN rail mountable with separate adapter.
  • Compatible with Shelly Plus Add-On accessories.

Other technical information:
