Shelly Qubino Wave PM MINI smart relay with 1 socket

The Shelly Wave PM is a smart relay module with energy meter, which belongs to the Shelly Wave product family and uses the Z-Wave protocol for communication (868.42 MHz in Europe). As a smart home protocol, Z-Wave is specifically designed for communication between smart devices. The sub-gigahertz frequency ensures reliable signal transmission, while the Z-Wave MESH network topology allows devices that are remote from the central unit to communicate efficiently using uninterruptible power supply devices that act as signal repeaters.

Z-Wave devices require a Z-Wave Hub or USB coordinator (e.g. connected to a mini PC) to operate. The Z-Wave protocol uses standardised Command Classes, which allows compatibility with thousands of different brands of products. A Z-Wave network can contain up to 232 devices. Z-Wave also supports association groups, which allow direct connections between devices within the network. Many parameters can be customised at protocol level, satisfying even the most demanding users.

Pairing instructions

• The module has an "S" button, a function button for pairing, unpairing and factory reset. After connecting power, press and hold the "S" button until the LED indicator turns blue for pairing. Long press again (at least 2 seconds) to initiate pairing or unpairing.

Assembly

• Normally fits standard installation doses, but deep doses are recommended for faster installation.
