Original price was: 175,41 €.Current price is: 131,56 €.

SmartThings is Samsung's IoT platform, which supports smart devices of different technologies and brands, and provides remote control, scheduled on/off, automation and smart scenes.

It is compatible with thousands of devices from hundreds of brands, and the wide compatibility between the Aeotec Smart Home Hub and the SmartThings platform is what makes it so powerful. Whether it's audio or security systems, smart lighting or smart heating, the Aeotec Smart Home Hub helps you build a fully customised smart home. You can read more about the Hub's functionality here.

One app to control everything: SmartThings

No matter which device you plug in, no matter which routine you automate, you can control everything through the SmartThings app. With the SmartThings app, available for Android, iOS and iPadOS, you can quickly create the routines and automations you need, connect new devices, control all the things you've connected and get notifications when something happens at home.

In the SmartThings app, you can automate your own routines to make everyday life even more convenient. This means you can set up sequences of events - you don't have to get up from the sofa to turn the heating up or down, if a sensor detects a change in temperature it notifies the centre and other devices, which then automatically turn on the set temperature. The heating, meanwhile, turns down the brightness of the lights to create a cosy atmosphere.

Z-Wave, ZigBee, Thread and network (http) devices can be connected directly to the Aeotec Smart Home Hub. Thanks to the SmartThings software, it's very easy to connect SmartThings-certified devices, whether it's a sensor, a washing machine, an air conditioner or even a TV. The integrated Z-Wave electronics ensure that you can theoretically use any Z-Wave device.

City clustering and cloud integrations:

Aeotec SmartThings is compatible with a long list of devices from different brands that can be paired directly locally with the hub. This is for example most of the Zigbee 3.0 devices compatible with the eWeLink/Tuya platform from our catalogue, such as the low-cost Sonoff Zigbee sensors, the Sonoff S26 Zigbee socket, the SmartWise Zigbee smart bulb and some SmartWise Zigbee switches.
Other WiFi-enabled smart devices can be integrated into SmartThings via the cloud, so all eWeLink and Shelly devices will appear in the SmartThings APP - even without a hub - if you connect your eWeLink/Shelly hub to your SmartThings/Samsung account.

The SmartThings hub and the SmartThings platform are - due to their wide compatibility - one of the systems that many people choose as an integration platform, as for example eWeLink or Shelly WiFi devices can be connected via the factory cloud, and Zigbee, Thread or even Z-Wave devices can be connected directly via the Aeotec SmartThings hub, can be ordered locally in the app, on the interface, and can create scenes or other automations.
Based on the results of our quick test, we can use SmartThings to create automations between individual directly connected devices that will work offline, i.e. without an internet connection, thanks to the offline capabilities of the Aeotec hub. You can read more about this on the SmartThings website here.
