AQARA LED strip T1

The Aqara LED Strip T1 is a smart LED Strip controller that comes complete with 2 metres of LED strip.

The basic 2 m strip length included in the kit can be extended up to 10 m, for which Aqara offers an additional product called "LED Strip Extension". The additional LED strip is available in units of 1 metre and can be cut every 20 cm.

The 1 metre LED strip extensions can easily be used to illuminate shorter sections such as stairs, shelves or furniture.

The Aqara LED Strip T1 product requires an Aqara Zigbee HUB, which acts as a central unit to control the LED Strip via a Zigbee connection. If connected to an Aqara M2 gateway, the device is compatible with the Matter standard.

Like other Aqara smart home devices, it is compatible with Apple HomeKit (including Adaptive Lighting), Google Assistant and Amazon Alexa voice control, and the IFTTT app and system.

The RGB CCT (colour + white) LED strip is IP44 protected, making it suitable for outdoor use and can display up to 16 million colours. As it is an RGBIC LED strip, each section can be illuminated with a different colour and display stunning colour transitions and effects. (RGBIC functions currently only support colour management, not white light)

It also includes a "music synchronisation mode" that allows you to change the lighting according to the rhythm of the music. In addition, you can choose from a number of lighting effects in the app.

Thanks to the smart network protocol Zigbee 3.0, it has low standby power consumption and does not put any strain on the Wi-Fi network.

It also acts as a repeater of the Zigbee signal in the Zigbee Mesh network for devices located further away from the central Zigbee unit.
