AQARA P2 motion sensor + light intensity sensor (Thread protocol)

AQARA P2 is a motion and light sensor, a battery-powered multisensor using the Thread protocol and capable of natively supporting the Matter standard. The AQARA P2 motion sensor is an important complementary device to create a sense of security in the home. In addition to detecting changes in motion status, it also has a light sensor that measures the amount of light in LUX and displays the values in the app. As with the motion sensor, you can create automations for both changes in the motion sensor state and for exceeding light level thresholds.

The sensor runs on two CR2450 batteries, which are included in the package. With average use, the batteries have a lifetime of up to 2 years. A Thread hub is required to operate the device. From the AQARA range, the AQARA Hub M3 is the ideal choice.

You can adjust the angle of view of the sensor as desired. With an extremely wide detection angle (170° up to 7 metres), the flexible 360° base allows you to orient the sensor to detect motion only in the areas you want. It sends an instant notification when motion or intrusion is detected.

The sensor can be installed anywhere without tools. The supplied base can be glued to a horizontal or vertical surface.

Compatible with HomeKit, SmartThings, Google, Alexa, IFTTT and AQARA M3 hub.
