The plug is IP44 waterproof, making it suitable for use in bathrooms and other wet areas, as well as outdoors.

Original price was: 32,45 €.Current price is: 24,34 €.

Nous is a special product of the European brand Nous A6T Wi-Fi outdoor (IP44) smart socket that can switch up to 16A. It is waterproof to IP44 standard, suitable for use in bathrooms and other wet areas, as well as outdoors.

The Nous Smart Socket is supplied with Tasmota firmware, so it is primarily recommended for users and integrators of open source smart home systems.

Note: this product is not compatible with eWeLink or other apps and clouds, it is intended for integration into open source smart home solutions. Please also note that the Tasmota firmware is not a commercial product and only community support is available.

What is Tasmota firmware?

TASMOTA is an open source firmware that is increasingly used as the base software for smart home devices, often pre-installed at the factory. It allows local management independent of the cloud, thus supporting independent, local and secure data storage. As Tasmota is open source, it is continuously developed and verified by the community, increasing security and reliability.

It supports a variety of communication protocols such as MQTT, HTTP and WebSocket, allowing wide compatibility with different devices. TASMOTA devices can be easily integrated with various smart home hubs such as Home Assistant, OpenHAB, Domoticz and Node-RED.

The Tasmota firmware offers a local web-based admin interface on the devices where you can configure various options, but it does not offer a "factory" app, and there are several third-party apps to make it easier to manage the devices. Home Assistant, OpenHAB and other smart home platforms also have mobile apps to integrate and manage Tasmota devices.

It allows you to turn a standard wall socket into a smart one in a few simple steps, the perfect solution for controlling connected appliances and lights.

You can use it to conveniently switch on your devices remotely before you get home, or to set on/off schedules. You can also monitor the power consumption of connected devices to save energy and money, as the smart socket includes energy meter.

The Wi-Fi Smart Socket can switch current up to 16A, so you can also control higher power devices (up to 3680W) such as electric boilers, irons or even electric heating.

Due to the factory Tasmota firmware pre-installed is compatible with most home automation systems that support MQTT, allowing easy integration into your existing smart home.

(Compatible smart home systems: Alexa, AWS IoT, Domoticz, Home Assistant, Homebridge, HomeSeer, IP Symcon, KNX, NodeRed, nymea, OctoPrint, openHAB, Otto, IOBroker, Mozilla WebThings Adapter, SmartThings, Tasmohab, Homematic ip ...)

It does not offer a factory cloud solution, so it is particularly recommended for integration with the systems listed above.
