Nous B3T Wi-Fi 2-gang smart mini module

Nous B3T, a smart Wi-Fi relay module with two connectors and a power meter, can be used to control two separate circuits (e.g. a light with multiple connectors) or a motor (e.g.

Original price was: 35,26 €.Current price is: 26,45 €.

The new dual-channel smart relay module with energy meter from European brand Nous, Nous B3T, has a built-in Wi-Fi chip and can be used to control two separate circuits (e.g. multi-channel light) or a bidirectional motor (e.g. motor for blinds, shades, curtains). The product is compatible with the Matter standard.

Nous B3T relay module is shipped with Tasmota firmware loaded at the factory, so it is recommended especially for users and integrators of open source smart home systems and those looking for solutions compatible with Matter hubs.

So, the special feature is that the Nous module is shipped with Tasmota firmware, so it is also recommended for users and integrators of open source smart systems.

Note: Tasmota firmware is not a commercial product and support is only available through the community.

What is Tasmota firmware?

TASMOTA is an open source firmware that is increasingly being used as factory-installed software for smart home devices. It supports manufacturer-independent and cloud-independent local management and local, secure data storage. Because Tasmota is open source, it is continuously developed and improved by the community, increasing security and reliability.

It supports a variety of communication protocols such as MQTT and WebSocket, ensuring wide cross-platform compatibility. Tasmota devices can be easily integrated with various smart home hubs such as Home Assistant, OpenHAB, Domoticz and Node-RED.

The Tasmota firmware offers a local web-based administration interface on the devices where various parameters can be set. Although it does not offer a factory application, several third-party applications are available to manage the devices. Smart home platforms such as Home Assistant, OpenHAB and others also have mobile apps to integrate and manage Tasmota devices.

The Nous B3T WiFi Smart Switch Module can be used as a two-channel relay switch module or as a single-channel module to control curtains/blinds/motors.

The device contains an integrated ESP32 MINI-1 module with 4MB flash memory and comes pre-loaded with Tasmota firmware, allowing easy integration with various smart home systems such as Home Assistant.

The B3T module supports 100-240V AC or 24-30V DC power and connects to a Wi-Fi network via an embedded 2.4GHz Wi-Fi chip.

A special feature of the module is the dual-channel power metering, which makes it possible to control motorised curtains or blinds.

As B3T works with Tasmota firmware, it is not compatible with Nous' own application, but with open source solutions such as Home Assistant or other systems that support the MQTT protocol.

Due to its small size, it fits standard recessed wall socket outlets behind traditional switches.

The module has an input for a switch key, so that "smart" upgraded switch points can remain usable as before.

It works in local mode without an internet connection or a factory cloud and can be configured with on/off schedules.

It is a Matter-compatible solution, so it is compatible with Apple HomeKit and SmartThings (when connected to Matter Hub). When connected to Matter Hub or Home Assistant, it supports voice control via Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant.
