Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 multi-protocol (Wi-Fi+ Bluetooth / Zigbee 3.0) relay module

Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 is the latest, fourth generation of the Shelly single-pole smart relay. Like its predecessor, it provides switching up to 8A and support for dry contacts, as the control circuit is electrically isolated from the power supply that operates the relay. This model does not include a power metering function.

Like all Shelly products, the Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 connects directly to your Wi-Fi router - without the need for a central controller, port or local bridge - and has built-in support for the Matter standard.

Shelly GEN4 devices also offer an alternative mode of operation, which must be selected before mating. In this mode, the device can communicate via Zigbee and connect to a Zigbee controller or gateway.

Whether Wi-Fi or Zigbee connection is used, the Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 is ideal for automating lights or other electrical devices and is part of a complete smart home system - perfect for home renovation. Thanks to its small dimensions, it can be installed behind standard wall switch panels or in junction boxes, even in retrofit installations.

Once installed behind an existing wall switch, you can remotely control lighting or appliances via the app, while retaining the option to use physical switches. Due to the 8A limit, it is not recommended for switching electrical sockets.

The relay includes a switch input, so you can still control the physical switch, and remote control via Wi-Fi is also possible.

You can also set automatic on/off timers in the app. The wall switch can also be completely disabled, which is useful for example in children's rooms.

Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 is compatible with both toggle and momentary switches and supports bidirectional configurations. The auto-off function also allows pulsed operation.

Dry Contact Switching - As with its predecessor, the Shelly 1 Mini GEN4 supports switching up to 8A at 240V AC or 5A at 30V DC, making it suitable for potentially voltage-free applications such as garage doors, patio door motors or irrigation systems. It can also contact 12V or 24V DC/AC circuits.

IMPORTANT: The device requires the presence of a phase and neutral conductor. The phase coming from the switch must be on the same phase as the input phase, so the device is not suitable for multi-phase installations.
