Shelly 1PM Mini Gen4 Multiprotocol (Wi-Fi+ Bluetooth / Zigbee 3.0) Relay Module

Shelly 1PM Mini GEN4 is the latest, fourth generation compact single-channel smart relay with power metering function. It supports switch load up to 8A and allows real-time monitoring of consumption via the Shelly app.

Like all Shelly products, this relay connects directly to a Wi-Fi router, without the need for additional controllers, bridges or hubs. In addition to Wi-Fi, it also supports Matter protocol and offers the possibility of operating in Zigbee the mode to be selected before pairing. This makes it suitable for use as a stand-alone smart relay or as part of a complete home automation system.

It is one of the smallest smart relays on the market, supporting both Wi-Fi and Zigbee communication. Thanks to its extremely compact size, it can be easily installed behind conventional wall switches or in junction boxes, even in retrofit applications.

Installation behind existing wall switches allows remote control of luminaires or other devices, while retaining manual operation of the switch. Ideal for smart upgrades to existing electrical installations. Supports both pressure and rocker switches, but due to the 8A limit it is not suitable for plugging into electrical sockets.

The relay also has a switch input that allows simultaneous use of the manual switch and the remote control via Wi-Fi. The physical switch input can also be disabled in the app, useful for example for child safety.

The Shelly 1PM Mini GEN4 is compatible with two-position and pressure switches and allows for cross or staircase switching. The automatic shut-off allows operation in pulse mode (pulse switch).

Measuring Consumption

The built-in power meter allows you to accurately monitor the consumption of the connected load, displaying the current power (W) and total consumption (kWh) in the Shelly app.

Improvements in GEN4

Using the new processor ESP-Shelly-C68F delivers faster performance, more stable connectivity and better energy efficiency. Memory is doubled to 8 MB flash, and communication includes improved Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Overheating protection has been added for improved safety and reliability.
