Shelly BLU Door Window Sensor - Wireless

The Shelly BLU door/window sensor is a new product from a European manufacturer, to be released at the end of June 2023: a very small, battery-powered door/window sensor using Bluetooth technology.

The device can connect to a Shelly Plus or Shelly Pro Bluetooth Relay Receiver and use it to connect to other Shelly devices on the local network or the internet. The device is also equipped with a light sensor, so you can create a controller that only switches on the lights when it is dark when you open the door.

And with the built-in tilt sensor, it can also be installed on sliding windows and sliding doors to create an automatic tilt-angle system that differentiates between opening and closing.

It can be attached to the door or window with (supplied) double-sided adhesive tape.

According to the factory specification, the Bluetooth range is 10 m max. indoors and 10 m max. outdoors, within which it can be paired and controlled by an installed Shelly Plus or Pro Series relay used as a Bluetooth port.

By default, the device sends open/closed, brightness and battery status information immediately when the open/closed status changes, and then sends tilt angle information a few seconds later.

If the device is switched to beacon mode, information on open/locked status, tilt angle, light level and battery status is sent every 30 seconds, which is likely to reduce battery life.

The device is compatible with and can be connected to Bluetooth-enabled Shelly smart home systems, such as the Shelly Plus and Pro series relay modules, using the Shelly Smart Control app. It is also compatible with other devices and platforms that support the Shelly Blu Door Window sensor BTHome protocol, for more information visit www.bthome.io.
