The Shelly PM Mini GEN3 is, like the Shelly PM Mini, a miniature socket meter that has no relays so it cannot be switched, but it does have a 16A meter.

Nov Shelly PM Mini GEN3 is one of the smallest WiFi devices with smart metering capabilities. Like its predecessor, it does not include a relay and therefore does not allow switching, but due to its small dimensions it fits into even the smallest sockets behind wall elements. It is suitable for measuring power loads up to 16A, so it is applicable to a wide range of consumers.
It connects directly to the WiFi router, without the need for a local control unit, gateway or smart management bridge. It can be installed as a stand-alone device or as part of a new build or whole-building renovation, where it enables a complete smart home system to be deployed. Shelly is also a good choice as a complete system.
It allows you to monitor the current and historical consumption values of electrical appliances, as well as other Shelly devices, relays and other appliances based on current consumption. The device has a 110V-240V AC power supply and is not suitable for measuring direct current (DC).
The Shelly PM Mini GEN3 is equipped with the ESP-Shelly-C38F chip. Like its predecessor, it supports Wi-Fi + Bluetooth protocols. It also includes a Bluetooth gateway, which means it can act as a receiver/gateway for Shelly's new generation of Bluetooth sensors and remotes. It also includes a Wi-Fi repeater function which, when activated, transmits a Wi-Fi signal to remote Shelly devices - a kind of Wi-Fi mesh system.
Connection to your phone is via Bluetooth protocol.
The Shelly PM Mini GEN3 is the third generation, with double the memory of its predecessor - the ESP-Shelly-C38F chip has 8 MB of flash memory, twice as much as before.
Your smart device's cloud consumption data is stored in your Shelly Cloud account and is available to view and download in the app.
In the cloud, Shelly devices can be accessed and managed via the Shelly Cloud Scene (Smart Control) function, which also allows devices to manage each other (composite functions). For example, a wall switch can be controlled by a Shelly relay installed behind another switch or even another Shelly relay installed behind an outlet, regardless of the connection point, so devices connect via WiFi and the Shelly Cloud and can control each other according to certain rules.
It is also possible to manage devices directly using fixed IP addresses (without using the Shelly cloud, even in LAN mode) via HTTP commands (DDD, Direct Device-to-Device). This means that if the devices are not connected to the internet or if access is blocked by a firewall, you can still manage the devices locally via the Shelly app.
The Shelly PM Mini is also available with the manufacturer's official app and cloud service, free of charge for users.
Shelly is already one of the most easily integrated smart devices on the market with the basic factory software. It supports MQTT and management via REST API.
It is compatible with voice control via Google Home, Amazon Echo and Yandex Alice. Shelly PM Mini supports simultaneous management via the cloud and MQTT.
Several Shelly devices are already integrated through the Shelly Cloud SmartThings platform.
The underlying software also supports a number of open source and other systems:
These smart devices require both phase and neutral conductors.
