Shelly PRO EM - 50A professional 1-phase energy meter

The Shelly Pro EM 50A is a single-phase, DIN rail mountable, Wi-Fi enabled energy meter with Wi-Fi, Bluetooth and LAN connectivity. With an active energy measurement accuracy of 1 %, the Shelly Pro EM 50A can be used to monitor the consumption of individual household appliances, electrical circuits and office equipment. The device provides 60 days of local data history storage with one-minute resolution for each phase. In addition, scripting functions allow complex scenarios to be run and a wider range of control options. 

Enhanced with all the benefits of the 2nd generation Shelly software and LAN connectivity, it provides additional options for professional integrators to develop end-user solutions. Shelly Pro EM-50 reports the total energy as well as the current voltage, current and power factor for each phase in real time.

Industrial installations
Shelly Pro EM-50 supports MODBUS for monitoring voltage, current, power and energy. It allows accurate sampling of current consumption and voltage values. The new firmware platform allows reporting at intervals as low as every 100 ms directly to your infrastructure.

Two-way monitoring of energy consumption
Monitor your home, office or production and avoid extra costs or voltage drops that can damage devices. Shelly Pro EM-50 provides bidirectional metering: energy produced and energy consumed for each of the three phases. The device can be configured to measure three separate circuits of a single-phase system. Check the quality of the power grid in terms of active power, reactive power, voltage and power factor.

Local control
Thanks to the scripting and webhook functionalities of Shelly Pro EM-50, you can easily control other Shelly devices or Wi-Fi devices on your local network. Use this option to precisely control the heating, cooling or charging of your electric vehicle according to the production from the solar power plant and automatically reduce consumption. All this without using the cloud.

Solar and wind power monitoring
Keep track of how much energy your solar panels or wind turbines are generating and save effortlessly. The Shelly Pro EM-50 provides real-time data on the efficiency of your solar or wind system, as well as historical data on energy produced and consumed for the last 60 days with a resolution of 1 minute. This allows you to accurately control the energy flow and maximise the use of renewable resources. In addition, you can connect Shelly Pro EM-50 to other Shelly devices and create scenarios such as automatic device shutdowns or triggering alarms.
