The Shelly Qubino Wave 1 Smart Relay Module is a single-circuit control device that can be installed in the dashboard. The Shelly Wave series uses the Z-Wave protocol for communication, so you will definitely need a Z-Wave hub or USB coordinator to use the relay module.

The Shelly Qubino Wave 1 is a smart relay module from the Shelly Wave family that uses the Z-Wave protocol (868.42 MHz in Europe) for communication. Z-Wave is a smart protocol developed specifically for communication between smart devices. The sub-GHz frequency allows good signal propagation and the Z-Wave MESH topology allows even remote devices to communicate properly with the central unit (devices that are continuously powered act as signal repeaters). Z-Wave devices require a Z-Wave Hub or USB coordinator (e.g. connected to a mini PC) to operate. The Z-Wave protocol uses a unified communication structure (command class), which allows thousands of products from hundreds of different manufacturers to be compatible with each other and to operate as a single unit in a network. Up to 232 devices can be connected to a Z-Wave network. An additional benefit of the Z-Wave protocol is the support for Association Groups, which allows direct connection between individual devices in the network. Z-Wave devices can be configured with different parameters at protocol level and adapted to the most specific needs.
The Shelly Wave 1 smart relay module can be powered via separate input terminals: 12V DC, 24-48V DC or 230V AC. Control is via dry contacts between the output terminals. The module includes overheating protection, allowing safe operation even in small rooms and mounting ranges.
Pairing:
The module has a function button "S" used for initial pairing, unpairing and resetting to factory settings. These functions are available for a limited time after the power is switched on.
Pairing/unpairing/factory reset:
Keep the "S" button pressed until the status LED turns blue. Then press "S" again (for at least 2 seconds) to start the pairing/deployment process.
