Shelly Qubino Wave 1PM MINI single-channel Z-Wave relay module with energy meter

The Shelly Wave 1 PM Mini is a smart relay module with energy metering, belonging to the Shelly Wave product family and using the Z-Wave communication protocol (868.42 MHz in Europe). The Z-Wave protocol is specifically designed for smart home devices and ensures reliable communication between them. The sub-gigahertz frequency allows reliable signal transmission, and the Z-Wave MESH topology allows devices that are remote from the central unit to communicate efficiently via permanently powered devices that act as signal repeaters.

Z-Wave devices require a Z-Wave Hub or USB coordinator (pluggable into a mini PC) to operate. Z-Wave uses standardised Command Classes, which allows compatibility with thousands of different brands of products. There can be up to 232 devices in a Z-Wave network. The protocol also supports association groups, which allow direct connection of devices within the network. A number of parameters can be customised at protocol level, providing advanced configuration options.

Pairing instructions

• The module has a function button "S" for pairing, unpairing and resetting to factory settings. After connecting power, press and hold the "S" button until the LED indicator turns blue for pairing. Pressing it again for a long time (at least 2 seconds) initiates the pairing or unpairing process.

Assembly

• It usually fits standard installation doses, but deep doses are recommended for faster installation.
• DIN rail mounting with adapter (sold separately) is possible.
