The SmartWise 602PM-R2 Smart Socket - similar to the Sonoff S26 (R2) - is an eWeLink-compatible Wi-Fi Smart Socket with a maximum load of 16A, so you can use it for more powerful electrical appliances (e.g. electric heating, iron or washing machine).
This Plug&Play device allows quick installation with Bluetooth pairing and serves as an upgrade from a conventional wall socket to a smart socket that can be controlled remotely via the eWeLink app. It synchronises the on/off status with the app, allows for one-off or recurring on/off schedules, timer control, looping, setting the status after a power failure (ON/OFF/BACKSTATE), as well as automatic on/off (inching) functions.
SmartWise 602PM-R2 also has built-in electricity metering functionso you can monitor the electricity consumption and cost of individual household appliances. In the eWeLink app, you can check historical data on a graph or download consumption statistics in CSV format. There is also a function to measure consumption from manual start to manual end.
The device also includes OPS (overload protection) functionswhich means you can set the maximum power, voltage and current as triggers for automatic switch-off to protect electrical appliances.
The socket also has a physical button to manually switch it on/off.
Remote access can also be shared with others, such as family members. It is the ideal solution for smart control of household appliances and lamps. It allows convenient remote control of appliances before you get home and scheduled switch-off to save energy and costs.
