The Sonoff 4CH PRO offers extended functionality compared to the standard Sonoff 4-channel smart relay, version "R3" is the updated version in July 2020 with additional features compared to the previous version 4CH Pro R2.
It is a WiFi-enabled smart relay module that allows remote control four electrical circuits (channels). The device can be controlled over the internet using the free eWeLink app for iOS or Android, and timed on/off switching is also possible. The relay can be shared with other household members via the app. The perfect solution for smart control of devices that don't need to be used all the time (e.g. air pumps for aquariums).
Sonoff 4CH Pro R3 is a four-channel DIY Wi-Fi smart relay module designed to integrate smart control into existing electrical installations. It allows control of 230V AC, 24V AC and DC devices (motors, sockets, lights, etc.).
It also supports 433 MHz RF controlwhich means it can also be controlled locally with the Sonoff RF remote control. The relay supports 3 modes of operation: self-lock, interlock and inching. The novelty of the R3 version is that all these modes can be configure directly in the eWeLink app, without mechanical settings on the device as in the previous version.
Example: with pulse mode you can trigger the door to open (and the relay will switch itself off after 1 second), and with mutual exclusion, when one channel is switched on, the others will automatically switch off - ideal for motors. The device can also be mounted on DIN rail.
