Sonoff BASICR2 WiFi Relay Module

Sonoff Basic R2 is a basic Smart Relay, which can be controlled remotely via the internet and includes a timer function. The R2 version is the classic and popular (previous) version of the product (without DIY mode).

The device is a smart WiFi relay switch that, when connected to any circuit, can be used to switch ON/OFF electrical devices connected to the same wiring. It supports control via smartphone with iOS (Apple) or Android app and allows timer setting (ON/OFF schedules).

The device also has a physical button. You can share control with family members via the app. It's a great solution for smart control of household appliances that don't need to run all the time and need to be switched on/off periodically (e.g. aquarium air pumps). With the smart switch, you can remotely switch on the appliance before you get home and conveniently set an automatic switch-off, saving energy and costs.

The Sonoff Basic R2 is a basic smart relay, its "premium" version, the Sonoff TH10, has a similar output (2200 W, 10 A), but the housing is larger and more robust, and - unlike the Basic version - all the connection points are on the same side.

If you need a temperature or humidity triggered ON/OFF, the Sonoff TH10 or Sonoff TH16 are the perfect choice. This version does not support sensor integration!
