SONOFF POW Origin 16 (POWR316) is a smart Wi-Fi switch with a power meter equipped with the newly upgraded ESP32 chip, which is 200 % faster than the previous ESP8266 chip.
It measures real-time electricity consumption, current and voltage, as well as cumulative consumption. POW Origin allows you to view up to 6 months of electricity consumption history backwards, precisely by the hour. This data can be exported to Excel directly on your phone.
It is possible to set a daily/monthly consumption threshold - you will receive a notification when the target is reached. You can also set up automations in the eWeLink app based on consumption meter data.
SONOFF devices can also be added to Home Assistant via the official eWeLink automation and management add-on.
In addition, POW Origin supports Alexa Energy Dashboard, allowing a centralised overview of energy consumption for individual devices or the whole system. If you subscribe to eWeLink Advanced package, POW Origin is also compatible with IFTTT and the eWeLink Web Control Panel.
The POW Origin enclosure is made of the highest level of flame-resistant material (V-0), and the upgraded connectors and extra layers of solder further increase safety.
