Sonoff THR316D Elite WiFi Smart Relay Module (230V/16A and NO/NC dry contact)

The Sonoff THR316D is the new R3 version of the Sonoff TH family of smart relays.The THR316D is a WiFi-enabled smart relay that can be controlled remotely over the internet using a mobile phone. The new version not only allows 230V (max. 16A) switching, but also de-energised switching. A thermometer, a humidity sensor and a soil moisture sensor can be connected to the THR316D and the device can also be controlled automatically according to the measured temperature/humidity/soil moisture data. Instead of a jack connector as in the previous R2 version, the R3 version now has a built-in RJ9 connector. The Elite version has an LED display showing the measured values on the screen, updated every 5 seconds. One of the new features of the R3 version is the uploading of measured data to the cloud, and the app also shows the measurement history for the last 6 months.

Compatible with the following sensors:

• Sonoff THS01 temperature and humidity sensor (recommended);
• Sonoff SI7021 temperature and humidity sensor; 
• Sonoff AM2301 temperature and humidity sensor; 
• Sonoff DS18B20 temperature sensor (waterproof);
• Sonoff MS01 soil moisture sensor. 

Operating modes that can be set in the eWeLink app:

• Manual: the user can manually switch the device on/off via the eWeLink app
• Automatic: temperature/humidity/soil moisture values (only one can operate at a time) can be set for several time periods during the day, and the relay status changes according to the set values

The THR16D can send a push notification if the relay status changes or if the measured value is below/above the set threshold.

THR316D is a new R3 version that switches the 230V voltage it receives for operation via the 230V output on the underside of the relay, and also switches the voltage independent NO/NC outputs on the top side of the relay:

• When the relay is in the OFF state: the 230V phase output is OFF, the COM-NC connectors are connected.
• When the relay is in ON state: the 230V phase output is ON (230V, max. 16A) and the COM-NO connectors are connected.

DIN rail mounting

The Sonoff THR316D has an adapter for mounting on a DIN rail in an electrical cabinet.
