Sonoff TX Ultimate T5EU1C single channel Wi-Fi touch switch

The **Sonoff TX Ultimate**, also known as the **Sonoff T5 EU**, is the latest smart wall switch from Sonoff, released in summer 2023. It is a smart switch that supports **Wi-Fi** and **eWeLink-Remote (Bluetooth)** protocols. Like other Sonoff products, it connects to the eWeLink smart home and can be controlled via the eWeLink app on your smartphone.

It connects to your local Wi-Fi router and allows remote control over the internet, and supports on/off scheduling, timer and repeating loops. A new feature of this model is that **the entire front panel surface is touch sensitive** - you can turn the light on or off by touching anywhere on the panel.

The elegant white glass panel is interchangeable and the manufacturer offers other designs - e.g. star and cartoon style.

It is available with one, two or three channels/touch buttons.

**Around the edge of the switch is an LED light strip** which offers several functions: it can display the status (on/off), give a visual response when pressed, function as ambient or night lighting (e.g. party mode) or be used as a night light with on/off scheduling. In the eWeLink app, you can also specifically time the LED light, not only the lights controlled by the switch.

When switched on or off, the switch can make a **sound**, a light signal and a **vibration** - all of which can be set or switched off. There is also a night "Do Not Disturb" mode where the switch does not emit sound or light effects.

The status of each channel is indicated by an LED light whose **colour and brightness can be set separately for on and off**.

The Wi-Fi chip allows you to remotely control on/off switching, display current status and set schedules - via the eWeLink app on iOS or Android phones. Of course, the lights can also be controlled manually via the wall panel.

You can also share remote access with family members. The switch is ideal for smart control of all types of lamps. It's also great as a burglar alarm - with simulated presence via a schedule.

The TX Ultimate also includes **Bluetooth receiver and gateway functionality**, meaning you can control it with wireless Sonoff devices such as the **Sonoff S-MATE** or **Sonoff R5**.

You can set the switch to **impulse mode** ("inching") so that it automatically switches off after a certain period of time - e.g. to illuminate a staircase.

The two- and three-channel versions also offer **interlock** - when one channel is switched on, the other is automatically switched off, ideal for controlling roller shutters or bi-directional motors.
