RCBO POW 16A 2P is Dual (1P+1N) smart differential circuit breaker with current measurement (RCBO), controlling phase and neutral conductors simultaneously, equipped with Wi-Fi and support for eWeLink cloud and eWeLink app. Supports a maximum of 16A. The maximum capacity can be set so that you can specify lower cut-off values.
But it's not just a circuit breaker, as has a power metering/energy monitoring function, so it can also be used to measure electricity consumption. It also has a built-in OPS system (overload-protection system)which protects connected devices against overvoltage, overcurrent and overload.
What is the difference between MCB and RCBO?
The MCB cannot protect against earth faults, while the RCBO also protects against electric shocks and earth faults. The MCB monitors the current and breaks the circuit in the event of a short circuit and overload. In contrast, the RCBO monitors the current through the phase conductor and the return current through the neutral conductor. The RCBO can interrupt the circuit in the event of leakage current to earth, short-circuit and overcurrent.
RCBO protects against earth leakage, short circuits and overloads, while MCB offers protection only against short circuits and overloads.
The device needs a phase and neutral conductor on the input side and also has a phase and neutral conductor on the output side. Using the eWeLink app, you can switch the circuit breaker on and off via the internet and an iOS (Apple) or Android smartphone, and you can also set automatic on/off schedules. The device also has a physical button, similar to traditional circuit breakers. Its on/off button has a built-in motor so that it can also be operated remotely. Sharing control with other users in the app is also supported.
Real-time power measurement function, daily and monthly statistics are displayed in the mobile app. It also supports downloading consumption data to a smartphone in CSV format. A smart relay not only helps with remote and timed on/off switching, it is the ideal solution for understanding and optimising your electricity consumption.
The device not only measures the current power consumption, but also shows the actual voltage and current data on the display. OPS (overload protection) settings are available with minimum power, maximum power, maximum current and maximum voltage. Export of up to 100 days of consumption history is supported via the eWeLink cloud in CSV format to a smartphone.
